The Healthcare Informatics Society of Ireland, in conjunction with the Irish Computer Society, is hosting their 13^th Annual Conference and Scientific Symposium. This conference is Ireland’s premier healthcare informatics event and will feature world leaders and experts in healthcare technology.

 

Attendees and speakers include:

·         Former Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern

·         Dr. James Mongan M.D., winner of the USA, 2008 CEO Achievement Award for information technology

·         Sir Leonard R Fenwick CBE, Chief Executive of the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

·         Ms. Ann Doherty, National Director of the National Hospitals Office

·         Dr. Glyn Hayes, this year’s recipient of the O’Moore Medal

 

More than 200 delegates are expected to attend this 2-day event, which will also feature an awards ceremony honouring four Irish companies who will receive the Eurorec Seal for software quality. Ireland is the first in Europe to have companies receive this certification.

 

This will be an excellent photo opportunity.
