ALLIANCE MEDICAL BUYS LEADING IRISH IMAGING COMPANY

 

Alliance Medical, the largest independent provider of MRI, PET and CT diagnostic scanning in Europe, has announced the purchase today of Sequence Medical Group, Ireland’s leading MRI service provider.

 

Sequence Medical was established in 2000 and employs 46 staff.  Sequence Medical currently has nine contracts in hospitals in Ireland and one in Northern Ireland.

 

Alliance Medical is Europe’s leading operator of medical imaging services, operating in 18 countries. 

 

Alan Pilgrim, Chief Executive of Alliance Medical commented “We are delighted to have been able to acquire Sequence Medical and look forward to working with Chris Jones, the founder of Sequence Medical, in further developing services offered in the fast growing Irish market”.
