23/01/2026 in Hodson Bay Hotel, Athlone, Ireland

Welcome to the 31st Annual Conference of the RAMI Section of Bioengineering (BINI 2026)

The University of Limerick (UL) is delighted to announce that the 31st Annual Conference of the Section of Bioengineering of the Royal Academy of Medicine in Ireland (BINI 2026) will take place at the Hodson Bay Hotel, Athlone, Ireland from Friday 23rd – Saturday 24th January 2026.

Bioengineering in Ireland has run annually since the first conference in 1995, starting with a small interdisciplinary meeting of engineers and clinicians in Tulfarris. University College Dublin hosted the last conference in 2025, which saw 200+ delegates come together to share their science and showcase the excellent research that is being conducted across the different universities and colleges within Ireland. The research delegates presented exciting research findings in biomechanics, biomaterials, medical device design, tissue engineering, regenerative medicine and imaging.
