Submission of abstracts for this competitive medal award is now invited from SpRs in the 3rd, 4th, or 5th year of the Training Programme.
Abstracts of projects already presented at or submitted to ECR, RSNA, ESGAR, BIR etc. are eligible. PBL and Audit projects are not eligible for presentation, primary research work only. The project must be primarily the presenting registrar’s own work. The winner will be announced on the night. The medal will be presented at the ASM. Only one abstract per SpR is permitted. Please note all those submitting must be members of RAMI.
Please submit two versions of each abstract. The first should detail the authors, and the institution, with the name of the presenting author underlined. The second should be completely anonymised.
Abstracts should be prepared using Microsoft Word. The abstract, which should not exceed 250 words in length, should be divided into: title (in bold), all authors names (first name initial, surname), department, institution name and location. Use the following titles for the main text of the abstract: Purpose, Materials and Methods, Results and Conclusion. Abstracts should be written in Times New Roman, font size 12, single line spacing, with no formatting. Abstracts not conforming to this submission format will not be accepted.
Please ensure that your full mailing address and contact details such as mobile phone, fax and e-mail are also included. Please do not give an unattended office number.
Abstracts should be submitted by e-mail. The e-mail should contain a sentence confirming that the project is primarily the submitting registrar’s own work. Please send all submissions to email@example.com
The closing date, which is strictly final, is 2pm on 22nd June 2018.
